Meet The Team
David Magee
Managing Director
David is Solidus' Managing Director. He has over 30 years’ experience in financial advice, wealth management and banking, having led, established, and grown a number of financial advice firms. He has helped develop client propositions with financial advisory firms as well as headed up professional affinity partnerships focused on Inheritance tax and estate planning. Outside of Solidus, David coaches’ grassroots football within his local community.
Sarah Griffett
Head of Operations
Our Head of Operations, Sarah, has been a key part of the team for five years, overseeing day-to-day operations, leading our team, and ensuring clients consistently receive an excellent standard of service. She studied Law for three years, graduating with honours. Before joining Solidus, Sarah managed the Ombudsman team at the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman Service, where she further strengthened her expertise in leadership, management, and complaint handling through additional professional qualifications. She has also served as a Trustee and previously volunteered with the Citizens Advice Bureau in Stevenage, bringing valuable governance and community experience to her role.
Claire Beach
Head of Wills & Trusts
Claire joined Solidus in 2002 and brings over two decades of experience in Trust Solution services. With a background in international banking prior to joining Solidus, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. As Solidus’ specialist Will and Trust drafter, Claire is dedicated to providing clear, practical and carefully structured estate planning solutions tailored to each client’s needs. She holds several respected industry qualifications, including the prestigious Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation, reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.
Richard Boughton
Director of Estate Planning
With over 18 years working in the financial services industry, Richard has vast experience within asset management and strategic partnerships, with a focus on growth and sales strategies in support of client acquisition. His key role within Solidus is to ensure a smooth transition for new licensees, through one to one training, support, case reviews and delivery of our award winning solutions. Richard is a huge Star Trek fan, but hopes people won't hold it against him.
Jo Roskilly
Trust and Estate Planning Specialist
Jo has worked for Solidus for over 10 years and has gained considerable technical knowledge, both through her experience and formal study, including with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She is responsible for all Solidus Team training as well as providing training and resources for our Licensees. In addition, Jo works with the Senior Management Team on the continual review and development of our internal processes and IT systems.
Helen Thompsett
Head of Finance
Helen is our Head of Finance with responsibility for tracking budget and accounting information, ensuring accuracy of our financial reports and collaborating with senior management on planning and forecasting. Helen has worked at Solidus for the past 19 years, having come from a banking and personnel background, where she was also trustee of an occupational staff pension scheme. She is experienced in all aspects of Solidus and has developed trust solutions for financial planners and their clients, as well as technical training to our Licensees.
Eleta Manarkiene
Trust Services Senior Consultant
Eleta specialises in all aspects of post-death Trust fulfilment. Eleta studied at The Institute of Legal Secretaries and PAs where she obtained a Legal Secretary and PA diploma. She joined Solidus after working in a solicitor's firm for over five years where she managed her own caseload and also provided administration support to wider teams.
Orla Mitchell
Trust Planning Senior Consultant
Orla joined Solidus in 2017 as an Administrator and has progressed to the role of Senior Consultant within our Trust Planning Team. She acts as a key point of contact for new estate planning enquiries, overseeing case onboarding, initial documentation and trust drafting. She brings a wealth of experience in both customer service and financial services. Her previous roles include Administrator at a conveyancing firm and Mortgage and Loan Processor for a national mortgage provider, giving her a strong grounding in client support, compliance and regulatory procedures.
Michelle Rex
Quality Assurance Senior Consultant
Michelle previously worked in the pensions industry for eleven years before joining Solidus in 2013, bringing with her a wealth of experience in this area. She works primarily within our financial trust team for pensions, DIS and life assurance trusts, and is your key point of contact for these solutions.
Ben Harrison
Trusts and Drafting Consultant
Ben joined us in 2023 and was initially responsible for processing Financial Trust applications. He has quickly developed in the role and is now one of our experienced Trust drafters, while also supporting our Licensees with pre-application advice. Prior to joining the team, Ben gained valuable experience in customer service and administration across a range of roles. He holds a BSc in Psychology and Clinical Psychology and has also obtained his STEP Certificate in Trusts and Estates.
Tom O'Connell
Marketing Executive

Tom leads the Solidus marketing efforts, and if you're reading this, he has successfully launched the new Solidus website. Tom obtained a MA in Journalism before swiftly pivoting to Marketing, working for a series of startups and running his own agency. In his spare time, Tom can be found treading the boards in local theatre.
Hayley Scott
Trust Planning Consultant
Hayley joined Solidus in 2023, bringing with her over ten years of experience as a Paralegal specialising in Wills starting in the Legal and Wills department at Which? Consumers Association. Before transitioning into estate planning, Hayley graduated from Chichester University with a degree in Media Production and initially pursued a career in the media industry. At Solidus, Hayley is a key member of the estate planning team, focusing on new cases and the initial drafting of estate planning documents.
Dawn De-Vall
Trust Planning Consultant
Dawn joined Solidus in 2025 and is part of our Trust Planning Team. She specialises in new estate planning cases, preparing initial documentation and drafting trusts. While running her own business, Dawn completed a Master’s degree in Law and Business, demonstrating her strong commitment to professional development. She has also dedicated her time to public service, volunteering as a School Governor, a Special Police Officer and an Adviser at the Citizens Advice Bureau.
Kho Va Vi
Client Support Consultant
Kho joined Solidus in 2022, after leaving the Health and Safety industry as a Compliance Officer. He is part of the team responsible for the registration of Trusts to comply with HMRC legislation. His role also includes printing and delivery of Trust closure documentation. Kho excels at customer service and also adds a fantastic energy and sense of fun to the Solidus team.
Tom Yellowlees
Trust Planning Consultant
After graduating from Bournemouth University with a Law degree, Tom joined Solidus in 2023. He primarily works on preparing overviews and supporting our Advisers, while also playing an active role within the Solidus fulfilment team. Tom has also enhanced his professional knowledge by obtaining the STEP Certificate in Trusts and Estates
Natalia Dudson
Estate Planning Consultant
Natalia joined Solidus in April 2023 and now has developed her extensive experience in producing Lasting Powers of Attorney's, as well as preparing and checking original Estate Planning documents. Her previous work experience includes sales and marketing, with a focus on customer service. In her spare time, she is studying Psychology and Counselling at the Open University.
Natasha Swallow
Quality Assurance Consultant
With more than eight years’ experience in legal advertising, Natasha joined Solidus in 2023 as a Quality Assurance Consultant. She is dedicated to maintaining exceptional standards, taking great pride in quality checking draft documents and reference binders. Outside of work, Natasha is an avid BTS fan.
Sadiqa Islam
Support Services Consultant
Sadiqa joined in 2024 and her role includes verifying signed original documents, land registry and the management of storing client documents. She has completed an LLB (Hons) in Law from City University of London, whilst also gaining valuable customer service experience within the retail sector.
Tom Clinton
Estate Planning Consultant
Tom joined us in 2025 after travelling across Australia with friends and is now ready to kickstart his career in Estate Planning. Prior to travelling, his experience included customer service roles and cash office management. He attended Solent University where he obtained a BA in Business Management. Tom assists with the registration of Trusts and producing Lasting Powers of Attorney's and Estate Planning documents.
Milly Brooks
Estate Planning Consultant
Milly joined Solidus in 2025, having previously worked as a Team Leader within the customer service sector. She supports the registration of trusts to ensure compliance with HMRC legislation and plays a key role in drafting and producing Lasting Powers of Attorney documents. Milly brings strong customer service experience and a pro-active approach to her work, making her a key member of the team.
Georgia Brown
Support Services Consultant
Georgia joined Solidus in 2024 after completing her A-levels. She is responsible for verifying signed original documents, administering Land Registry matters, and supporting the team with document storage and organisation. Prior to joining Solidus, Georgia worked as a gymnastics coach, where she developed strong communication and teamwork skills.
