Job Title: Trusts Executive

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Purpose of the Job

You are contributing to the team that is responsible for the initial generating and drafting of client documents for Estate Planning applications. You will be supporting the team primarily responsible for managing the printing, checking and timely delivery of clients’ original legal documents. You will also share responsibility for the accurate drafting and production of that trust documentation, and will be responsible for the preparation of clients’ Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Main Areas of Responsibility

Estate Planning

-liaise with financial planners regarding applications as required -manage signing date schedule to ensure timely delivery of original documents -print, bind and accurately check clients’ original documents -draft and print Lasting Powers of Attorney -generate and draft documents for legal partners’ approval

General Office

-answer incoming calls efficiently in a polite and helpful manner -recommend developments and improvements to procedures and systems as appropriate -maintain and update relevant sections of the procedures manual

Additional Duties as Required

-print, bind and check original client documentation -data entry from application -liaise with financial planners regarding cases on hold -review drafting list to ensure service levels are maintained

Reporting

The post holder reports to, and is supported and trained by, the Office Manager.

Additional Information

Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to health and safety, confidentiality and data protection and report all concerns to an appropriate person.

Knowledge and Experience

-Excellent attention to detail -Demonstrably high level of planning and organisational skills -Willingness to develop technical knowledge and learn new skills -Good interpersonal telephone manner -Ability to work in a team with enthusiasm and commitment -Ability to work on own initiative
